Oddball request of the day:

Figure out how to add 27 offices to a building that really isn't conducive to having offices added to it.

I'm beat. Christmas break can't come fast enough...

 

I'm off from the shop the week after Christmas and I took next week off too. I still have 2 days to use other than those. My wife is leaving Saturday for a girls weekend with some friends of hers so I get to work the store Saturday and Monday with the kiddos. We have a lady working Saturday from 3-7 so I can take the kids hunting though

 

We get from Christmas Eve through the new year off paid at work. Unless I go in for double time on top of holiday pay. Last two years though, they denied any OT that week, so

 

Go Down put the offices in a enlarged basement !

 

Trying to wrangle this breaker into shape on this chilly Tuesday.

The basketball court might have a different opinion!

 

Ours is the same setup, only they offer us the OT during that week. I won't work a second during that week this year. Working it bumps you into the next tax bracket and for my guys isnt worth it. Straight 40 hr week plus time and a half on top seems great until you see how much you pay in taxes.

Make it so nobody gets an office. we're all communal! Except now you have to wear headphones to be able to accomplish anything over Emie from payroll eating with her mouth open at the chair behind you...AGAIN!, and god forbid you have to have a private-ish meeting. So then you make meeting cells that are soundproof so you can avoid the open transparency that you designed your flashy open concept office around.

Then put the manager in the center of the space, and instead of an office, give him a bullpen with a half wall so he's separate from the peasants but we can still telepathically force him to do his job vs slack off in his office with the door closed citing "conference calls"
