I found one from a scrapper on the market place. It's overall condition is what I would call "well worn" and they want $150 for it including the A/T sensor and harness. My gut feeling is that it's priced on the high side. What does the crowd say on this?

I have one. Tried it in my 2011. Don’t work, I guess different wiring
I have the unit itself, and you can take off the garage door cover and install this
I believe it is only good up to 2008
    It has temp and compass
    80.00 +ship

I actually have two of them
One is from an 08, and one I got online and is the updated version of the temp/compass as the OEM ones burn out so they say

I would check the plug to see if there's any corrosion on the connector. If it looks good, try buying a new thermistor from Toyota. Those are probably ~$20. I paid $16 six or seven years ago.

I think these came in the 2008-2009’s. So what I think is happening here with temp not right is that Toyota may have changed wiring/pin outs from 2010 and up. Which is unfortunate
That is a new module in the pic, and the OEM one that came with the overhead does the same thing
