I looked up this part number (90105-08267). It's for the throttle body bolt that mounts my throttle body to the upper part of the plenum. 4 of those. I am doing the valve cover job and replacing all sorts of worn out junk. I have always had this TB spacer on there. 1" spacer with screw pattern in the middle. Snake oil if ya ask me. I want to take it off. It appears that the bolt is M8 x 3.5. I need M8 x 2.5 I believe. What's odd is all the searching I have done there doesn't seem to be a clear answer on what the size of the bolt actually is. I could order from Toyota but I'd have to wait who knows how long and I am about done with the task. Want to get it done before the snow falls more than it is. I have a 98. 5VZFE. I couldn't find an M8 x 2.5 at my local Ace because - they typically don't have what you need. Any advice would be appreciated! or - I'll just put this stupid spacer back on there for now.

I was wondering what specs Toyota had on them. I used those at the hardware store. I put an M8 nut onto my extended bolts. Just odd that the length is hard to find around my area.

I have given up on finding bolts and hardware at Home Depot / Lowes / Ace, etc.. I just order straight from McMaster Carr, and they're here the next morning.

I will check that out then. Thank you for your help. Lowes was my next stop but probably not any better than Ace.

I used to have the best luck at Ace, but they closed most of their socal locations. Home Depot is extremely hit-and-miss, mostly miss. :notsure: McMaster Carr is a 100% hit.

I have had an account with MCMaster-Carr for years.

They are great to deal with I have yet to ever get a poor product.

I had no local sources for JIS Hardware So filled my own Bolt Bin it is so worth having .

I also keep M8x1.25 all thread for emergencies make 4 studs and mount your throttle body .
