I got 2 PW 50's. Well more like 1.5 lol

 

Hanging in there. Putting a lot of work into 79 Chevy square body. New Tacoma headliner, seat covers and lot of electrical work next. Deer hunting also going to occupy some time. Trying to pattern this one on my property.

 

If you need to find parts for any vehicle I found this site which is great. Got a used headliner in excellent shape for my 14 Tacoma for $300 versus $1400 new (had one on backorder for several months).

 

Those things apparently have a cult following. I watched a YT vid of one that was hopped up

Nice. Back when I had my TJ, I found a 79 crew cab dually for 3K. I wish I would have had the money to grab it.

Yeah no doubt. They haven't really changed since the first one in 1980 other than graphics / plastics and a fork update in 2017. All of the drivetrain is from a 50CC scooter Yamaha produced back in the 70's. My son's is all stock and will run 27 with me on it at 170 Lbs lol. They are pretty much bullet proof. I gave $60 for the one my oldest son has at the worlds longest yard sale. no seat or tank, brought it home poured gas down the fuel line and after a few kicks it fired right up. A few odds and ends, $60 for new set of tires, a $20 set of used plastic and I powder coated the wheels. I might have $200 total in it.

Yep, I bought another one about a year ago for $60 but its a basket case and locked up. My plan is to completely blow it apart rebuild everything and powder coat everything so its basically a new bike. Then give it to him for Christmas next year and his little brother can have his current one.

 

Damn, I might need to look for those too
