It did happen. 8% interest rates arrived and now everything around me sits for weeks on end.

Im seeing stuff have multiple price drops and still sitting. Even the new homes just sit, which is nice cause that means the new neighborhood 50 yards behind my place should remain quiet for awhile once its done.

Got home and there was a big package on the porch from my dad, opened it up and it was full of socks  note said he inherited a bunch of socks from his cousin and wanted to share the bounty

Weird stuff you get in the mail

Wasn't happy with a few things...seeing as how I'm well over 200mhz above the clock, and 1000mhz above ram speed, the RTX is going to be power hungry.

That and I hated the current setup so I ordered extensions.

Now, I can run two 8-pin cables from the PSU versus piggybacking off a single slot.

    Plus it's aesthetically pleasing now.

Maybe cause the FZJ is FF? I wonder which is stronger?

Well, the wheels won't fall off in a FF setup so that's the real positive.

Guess the point of my question was, why get rid of the 2nd Gen rear setup to begin with? It's not like it's a weak-link.

The market seems down but interest rates are way up so it's kind of a wash I guess. Maybe sometime this century the missus and I will be able to make a dwon payment lol. Maybe we'll just build an earthship or something.
Idk that FZJ rear diff is incredibly strong. Never heard of one breaking. I think the rear axle is pretty darn strong too; perhaps almost comparable to a Dana 60.

Let the interest rates keep rising, it will make home prices drop.

Update. Some lady posted her Rubicon on a dirt road in Colorado with the eye roll emoji.

Really not sure what she has proven because I have friends that drive their Subaru Imprezas on dirt roads without issue as well. I’m not one to stir the pot but this is hilarious.
