Speaking for me only. Nope not one bit. My evidence would be that most of the best chefs in the world are MEN ! My hunting buddy, his missus knows how to order in or order from a menu. When he and I are at the ranch, We COOK ! And cook well !!

 

I’m actually surprised Ms. Mollie doesn’t cook. She strikes me as one that would enjoy whipping up something tasty and healthy.

I myself know I'm gonna be alone for most of my life, so I learned how to cook, sew, and other "chores" a significant other would typically do.

 

i can cook pretty good, with some mishaps at times...wife does good most time...

 

so whats the back story? Burn water?

 

I can bake pretty good too (according to my co-workers). Excited to try out the convection oven this year.

 

I've always enjoyed cooking. I find it relaxing and a way to explore food the way I like it. I too have lived alone for almost 20 years now. In that time I learned how to sew, badly of course and only in straight lines. I made blankets and curtains for my daughters room when she was about 6 or 7 years old. I've had to do it all cuz if I didn't, it wasn't gonna get done.
