We had a Yukon XL with a 6.2 in it then went to the Suburban with the 5.3 and I thought it was sick. I can't imagine my wife going from those to a smaller engine the way she drives. I told her go drive something before you make your mind up on even wanting it.

I bought this 2016 Cadillac CTS VSport in April of 2020. Had just under 20k miles and paid $23,000 for it. Sold it in August of 2021 for $22,000 and it has 40k miles on it.

In December of 2021 I picked up a new Ford F-150 with a 5.0 V8. They where running a in house financing special on F-150s. 1.7% for 72 months. Couldn’t beat that deal.

Maybe someone actually had some smarts and concluded that Techs need to access this unit in
a timely manner for good service. Who would have thought that Techs have feelings and needs lol

Does the Ford have a turbo or 2 or was that a different engine?

Nope. I didn’t want the eco boost. This is just the time tested V8 ford has. The coyote.

Gotcha. I told my wife I don't want to buy anything with a turbo on it for future problems, especially on a 4 cyl. One on the Duramax is enough :D

Thanks boys, negative on being there although I could've...pretty proud to say I helped assemble and fuel the most powerful rocket ever launched to date...I'm gonna put it on cruise control the rest of the year, we've been busting it. Leaving for the mountains Thursday evening, looking forward to slowing it down and breathing some mountain air....

That's a horrible idea. What time?
If it works for people, good for them, but I would never buy a vehicle without driving it. Pictures look nice and reviews don't always paint the whole picture. I couldn't do a Carvana car.

So please tell me it's not Monday. Warmed up the VW TDI this morning, get my stuff in it and start to leave, temperature light is flashing. Shut it down, grab the Taco keys, transfer the work stuff, head to work. Truck needs gas. Half way to work (45 mile drive), no ID card. Flipped the coin, went to work. Boss came down to verify me at the gate, "Unfortunately he's mine" she says with a grin. Call the help desk, 30-45 minutes for the password to be loaded to my machine. Now my coffee is cold. Should have just gone back home. Hope I have absorbed all bad bad juju and you all have a good day.

Well, now you have real good online courses. Lots of material you can access online.
    Makes things so much easier.
The one thing I would highly recommend is a 100% commitment to it from start to license.
Fly every few days (like 3 or 4) religiously. Weather will make you reschedule so just keep at the timeframe. Listen to how your instructor approaches aspects of flying. Do not go online and watch
this is how they do it stuff and try to incorporate it with your instructor. Worse thing you can do is say, I saw them doing this online however, Once you get more experience you can modify to make cockpit procedure flow better for you personally. Your going to have a lot of time flying solo and having a good strong base is essential. Again, Ask questions if your not sure.
    Remember.
    Air Speed
    Air Speed
    Air Speed

Lots of places have introductory flights.
Take one. See how you feel with that instructor.
If he’s easy to talk to, keeps it relaxed, corrects you patiently, then you should be GTG.

Have 50% of the money saved before you start. What it is now, not sure.
Keep a separate fund spot for it.

First step is getting in the plane and fly. If it’s a I’m not sure feeling after, Don’t do it.
