We bought the Tacoma and Elantra without driving either of them.

Dealership hasn't gotten back to us about the Rav. Maybe they finally figured out they wouldn't make any money on the deal.

Thanks for that, I live close to the old town airport, I think I’ll take a ride over and see if anyone has a flier for a discovery flight.

Pretty sure that's not how it works. With our tax structure, when you bump into the next tax bracket you only pay the higher tax on the amount over your previous brackets high rate. For example, if I making $85,000 a year (12% bracket) and I get a $6,000 bonus at the end of the year bringing my total salary to $91,000 and pushing me into the next tax bracket (22% bracket) then I only pay 22% tax on $1500.

A lot of people misunderstand this because when taxes are taken out during payroll, that paychecks total amount is usually used to determine the amount of taxes taken out. So if you double your paycheck because of OT then the tax system will think you are making Double the salary and withhold the appropriate amount of taxes for the bracket. That is why bonus checks appear to be taxes so high, but when you file your taxes it is all evened out.

Anybody ever been in a Rural King? The closest one to us is 44 minutes away. I may take the kids there Sunday after church to sniff around, gonna be cold and we need to get away too since the wife will be gone. We've never been in one.

I never heard of that store before I had to search to find out just what it was .

The nearest one seems to be in Hanover Pa. If i drove past that location it never stood out.

Hanover has a very large amount of retail stores.

My wife just sent me a link to a lady I've known my whole life, she passed away last night, she was 88 and lived a good life. In the last 10 years she lost her husband to a heart attack while sitting in his recliner and both of her sons passed away from cancer. Both as good of people as you would ever meet. She has one daughter left.

This lady was the principal at the elementary school I went to. I remember many days starting around 10 years old when my mom started to work at a company about 20 minutes away I would go to her office and tell her my stomach hurt. We would call my mom, she would come get me and take me home and go back to work. My mom never put 2 and 2 together and realized I only did this on days my dad was at the F.D. for 24 hours :anonymous:
