I did that once, took part of my nail. That was brutal. I don't always selfie in the stand, only when I almost rip my fingernail off with the crossbow.

Yeah, once was enough for me too. I was shooting off a rest, and I'll hold a rifle that way sometimes, with my thumb over the barrel. The split second after I pulled the trigger, I remember thinking "why is that arrow so far off target?" then the pain arrived and I knew!

I can't imagine getting a fingernail involved in that fiasco!

I just threw up in my mouth looking at those welds.

    Yours from 20 years ago?

Powdercoater sandblasted it and found the broken welds. I don't think my stick welds at 10 years old looked that bad :bananadead:

The nice kid I bought the engine from Monday towered over me, I'm 5'11", he was about a full head taller and built like a bear.

He had a Case tractor forklift, pretty much a 580 backhoe chassis used as a forklift, overkill for a Wisconsin but better than lifting it. ;)

This kid handled that big machine so smooth and gentle, it is a pleasure to see skilled folks run equipment. :)

    Did it have a cab?

Those were horrible to get in and out of the cab.

I'm 5' 8" and I hated getting in and out. I can't imagine what it would be like for a 6'6" cat.

I was referred to a dermatologist and had the appointment a few weeks ago. In doing some online snooping, I knew I was being seen by a Korean doctor. What I wasn't expecting was for him to be 6'4".

Wife went to drive a car, she’s trying to bring it so I can look at it. She called and ask where my insurance card is, I said in the visor. She said it expired in April. I said I know, I haven’t printed the current one out yet :anonymous:

    Sent her a screenshot :D

You know you have a good sized crane when it comes on 4 flatbeds and takes another crane to assemble.
