I am setting up snow tires and found a good price on 4/ 2020 OEM Rims. Will these rims fit my 2017 ? Is there a chart out there anywhere for this?

    They will.

Just know that the 3rd Gen Tacoma has a TPMS system that only sees/reads/allows 4 sensors. So either get clone sensors, for the winter wheels, to use your OEM sensor ID#s, or you will have to have the truck reprogrammed every time you want to swap wheels.

Autel 315MX are clone sensors. Your fav tire shop may have other versions.

I have three sets of wheels for my '17. OEM with OEM sensors and the other two sets have Autel 315MX clone sensors using the trucks' OEM sensor ID#s.

The Rims I'm looking at still have tires on them, but no good.I m assuming sensors are OEM .The Rims are in nice shape. So I'd have to reprogram these each time changed out? So I'd need these clone sensors to replace them?

Yes, since those sensor numbers are not programmed into your truck. Programming the new ID#s into the truck isn't easy as it has to be done through the OBDII port with specific equipment.
Well, that is up to you if you swap your wheels yourself at home.

The clone sensors @eurowner runs are an excellent option if you do not already have sensors.

However, if you end up with two sets of OEM sensors, this is the solution you want:

    https://www.ateq-tpms.com/en-us/products/quickset-x/

I have this tool and OEM sensors in my 3-season and winter wheels. I simply scan and upload each season. It's very straightforward. I was lucky in that I purchased a complete set of TRD Sport wheels and simply sold off the non-winter tires.

My friend just purchased winter wheels for his 4Runner and went with the Autel sensors and is very happy. I'd have gone that route if I didn't have OEM sensors.

So the Autel 315mx system comes with the tool that is needed to program the sensors right. I may do a set of rims for wifes Rav4 as well.I saw a kit online with 8 sensors and programming tool for $199.Does this sound right for what I need or do you have a kit # I could look at ?Thx

That would be a smokin deal. Four sensors normally cost that much.Seems too good to be true.

The Autel tools will scan your OEM sensors and you physically write down the four ID#.
The you insert the new Autel sensor into the tool and type in one of the four sensors ID#s.

If you have an Atutel tool that reads ID3s, you can find out quickly!
