If you want the ditch lights to turn on ONLy when the high beams are on, you can use a relay and have the high beams energize the relay to turn on the ditch lights.
But to answer your question, no, this switch panel doesn’t allow you to have an external trigger

 

Yes, what I was looking for. I would still want the ability to enable or disable the ditch lights and was hopeful this would do that so no external circuits were needed. It can still be done, just need to daisy chain a relay with this so nbd, still it would be nice to have an option for external trigger.

You can also use a ON/OFF/ON switch
One ON position you will use it with the hi beams trigger signal . The other ON would come directly from the battery so the ditch lights will stay on even with the truck off. With this you only need one relay and isolate the circuits.
And the OFF will deactivate the ditch lights

I added this ON-OFF-ON toggle switch to power up the panel, I can have on ONLY with the key open/running and I can have it on even if the truck is off. This comes in handy when I go camping, I can lock the truck and control the lights from the tent with the Bluetooth function.
I would have hidden the switch better if I hadn’t taken the bad decision to drill a hole before I bought the panel

I just swapped my add-a-fuse from the ACC fuse to the IG1 NO.2 fuse. This way I can turn on the switches via BT when my truck is running with the remote starter.


Does anyone have a On-Off-On switch that can go in the factory location that also looks somewhat factory?

 

Does anyone with the Bluetooth function have the problem that the Switch Panel app does not connect to the panel right away or automatically?
I always need to go into the BT settings, toggle on the BT, and then click on the device to connect.

Shitty. It seems like an app error. Hopefully they fix the bug. We should let them know so they can fix the issue.

 

Any issues with the controller coming loose? or the glue coming apart and not sticking? I'm thinking in mounting mine in the same place but worry about coming loose.

 

none what so ever. I used double sided 3m tape and its stout.

 

I also used 3m double sided tape and it's stuck firm

 

I used the double sided tape that came with the kit plus I drill two small holes that I bolted from the underside to the unit. Not bad!

 

I've been looking into getting one of these for a while now..then just yesterday a free product popped up on my Amazon Vine...a switch panel type thing - not from Auxbeam. I went ahead and ordered it since its free but I'm confused a little. All of these switch panels don't seem to have relays but this model has relays and fuses. Any input on that? Other than that, it looks really similar.

 

The one I have has actual relays and fuses. It's an Auxbeam six though. I think the difference is that the eight gang relays are encased in epoxy.
