Plus the new trucks use a pretty thin oil that pumps easily in the cold.

I live like half a mile from the highway. Should warm up pretty quick after I get up to 60-70. I won't just start it and pop it in gear, although like Ben said I'm sure I can.

By the time you fire it up and then click in your seat belt you are fine to set off and drive normal. My Mercedes says not to hot dog it until oil temps are above 170* which usually takes a few miles to reach that. But there is no minimum temperature for driving normal.

Just enough to look kinda cool.
I remember having to take the caps off a battery once. I swapped my battery and now it won’t start… hummm I wonder why.

What if I don’t clip my seatbelt?

If it's an oiled filter it could be messing with the MAF sensor, assuming the new generations meter air that way still.

I might go buy a cheap filter for shits and giggles and see if it makes a difference.

Anyone else going wheeling this weekend, I’m considering it but Sunday night might run too late for me.

I have other obligations this weekend and need to do final yardwork to prep for winter. Blah. Time of year where I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark so chores push to the weekend.

Yeah no thanks. It'll be interesting how my new daily handles the snow when it finally hits here.

Well if your last AMG is anything to judge by it’ll be about as good as the green truck.

I didn't drive my last one in the snow. Well that's a lie, I drove it around in 1" of fresh snow in the neighborhood once. It's just a low of power on tap with no grip. But green truck has no weight and on muds so also not great
