As I understood it. The 2 indicates the top direction for the 2nd vent above the ignition only. You can find 1,3,4 on the other side of the piece which is the top of the other vents.

Looks pretty nice. Was there any specific feature(s) that made you get this one?

I had a local dealer for the Alu Cab stuff.

Alu Cab is lighter than the others.

This is their latest design with sliding windows, positive pressure vent, etc.

The Alu Cab stuff seems to have less QC issues than the others.

Thanks. I had literally just thoroughly cleaned it in prep for the bed stiffeners and a ARE cap which I had installed right after that pic.

I finally got around to foaming my A/C condenser. Pulled the cabin filter, used the whole can of Kilma, let it drain, then run the air on face, then feet, then defrost for about a minute each while spraying the ozium into the cabin intake by the windshield. (Windows left down of course) Worked perfectly. :woot:

Going to pick up some 5/8 heater hose and couple of clamps tomorrow for the ac drain mod. I was surprised and happy to see no rust on the frame despite almost 6 years of not having the mod though. :notsure:

I just moved to NC from VA and I agree it is not where I want to live long. Enjoy the game and the city of Pittsburgh.

More of a "What Have You Done to Your 3rd Gen Yesterday" as I did this last night. But... the rear seat deletes are in! Took about three hours in total to include removable of the rear seats and all of the associated components. This mod is what I would consider to be an "irreversible" mod. Yes, you could take the delete out and re-install everything, but you really don't want to. The Epic Adventures overview of the install really helped as Goose Gear doesn't ship instructions with the kit. That being said, it honestly wasn't terribly complicated; unbolt a lot of things, pull a few panels, and bolt some things back in.

It isn't cheap, as we know. But, when you factor in the R&D, prototyping, hardware selection, and production, I think you get your monies worth. Goose Gear seemingly put a lot of thought into this. The whole panel is coated in a durable, slightly textured coating which provides grip for whatever you put down on it. There are a ton of 1/4-20 threaded inserts placed everywhere on the delete which allows for modular tie-down points. The latching mechanisms on the panels are high quality. The extruded aluminum on top of the back plate is a nice touch. The branding isn't obnoxious. I could go on, but you get the point. In my mind, Goose Gear knocked this out of the park.

Overall, I'm really happy with this mod. The platform is great for everyday use--be that commuting to work with a bag, getting groceries, taking the dogs (or cats, I don't judge) to the park, picking up a delicate package that you don't want to put in the bed, etc. And while the platform is great, I really appreciate the lockable panels for secure storage. Because the platform extends into the rear footwell, it allows you to store things on the floorboard and keep them hidden and secured. Couple these lockable compartments with a safe, you can securely store small firearms without much concern. And it allows you to retain the factory tie-down points.

I have another thread running dedicated to the finer points of the kit and the install, so I'll link that when I get the post written.

    PICS!
