Is he in it? If they don't really question that limit as much now, then good news

I remember reading somewhere about a racing league (I can't remember where or what the league was called) that had a price cap on cars. One of the league's rules was that a racer could offer the price cap to buy another racer's car, and that racer was obligated to accept the offer.

So, if it's a $2k league and you build a $10k car, someone else in the league can take it from you for $2k.

Well, then... that does make sense.

I think it was some Scandinavian amateur rally league I read about, with cars a bit more desirable than Lemons.

The lemons is kinda fucked up cause safety equipment doesn't count toward the value of the car, so being really well equipped for safety and having someone buy the car would suck

Yeah, $500 is nothing. You could probably take it right to a scrap yard or salvage yard and turn a profit just to be a jerk.

Just put a set on my 99. Want a set in 265/75R16 for my 04 but they're $275 a tire. I bought my current KO2s on that truck for like $180 a tire but that was 6ish years ago.

There are very limited options in 255/85r16, last time I was looking to buy it was the STMaxx, couple of BFG MTs, one or two Dick Cepeks...maybe a couple others in Toyo. Referring to ATs and MTs that is.

New tires for my 6.7l are $375-650 so I think I'm gonna ride it out til next summer. I'm at 8/32 on the Les Schwab ATs and they're alright on ice so far
