From talking to our county booze commissioner about getting a single barrel pick, it sounded like the window to order these are only open once a year…and most NC picks are unique to the county. You will see some statewide ones like there’s a Jefferson’s that’s in all four counties I get around to, but not often. The one he got is definitely a county pick. If you’re interested, I have a single bottle that I asked a store to put on hold before ole JA hit paydirt, you can have it. I can also pick you up a JDSBBS if they’re still where I saw them on Weds.

Just had these at two places by me. $249 each, went quick. I'm not a big fan of the Angels Envy lineup but I thought about getting one to trade. High West Winter was around today, I passed as well.

 

Just saw someone post getting this on FB, didn't think it was that valuable. TBH these limited releases seem so gimicky to me.

 

Inexpensive is not the same as cheap

Yeah, hard to keep up with them all and if they’re really worth it. I like Angels Envy at around $45-$50, it’s tasty. They want $100 for their Rye so I’ve never had it. Not planning on spending $500 myself on this one, couple other bottles I’d rather save that spending money for, but thought I’d share in case someone was looking.

 

I will say I really liked the box, as dumb as that is. The rye is the only one I like, but not at $100 a bottle. I'm on a short leash with the warden right now, if I bring home any more bottles I might be sleeping in the couch. Some bottles are with the risk lol.
