Supermarket eggs are laid by hens confined to small cages almost all their short lives.
Their diet is very scientific, supplemented by hormones and antibiotics.
Not that I think there's anything particularly wrong with the eggs, but...

We had chickens on the farm... free range chickens.
They got chicken feed of course (mostly grains), but they also ate lots of bugs, worms, a bit of greenery (natural vitamins).
Which is what chickens do, given half a chance.
We also made available to them crushed oyster shell, which they ingested happily.
This was grit for their gizzards, but also to strengthen the shells of the eggs they laid (calcium).

From time to time we gets eggs from friends at the church who raise chickens.
They do it mostly for themselves, but usually have a surplus.
The yolks of those eggs are a shade darker, and the eggs taste... "eggier"... if you get what I mean.

I have a North face rain jacket. Has a higher color that pretty much come up to my chin and I can adjust the hood. Also has armpit vents.

chickens aren’t as cheap as people think. My mom got 7 of them about 2.5 years ago and more this year. Has spent more money on those damn thing than she would have just buying eggs every week. They have to be like 6 months old before they lay eggs and don’t really lay any when molting.
