A REVIEW OF THE KLEIN MM420 MULTIMETER.

Was going to bring it back.
There was no stability in any reading.
Even checking my old leads, that I knew were good, would not calm down.
I tried the temp probe. Stable….
MMMMMMMMMMMMM

The new leads are banana style. They do not have ability to have alligator clips
screwed onto them. My old leads are banana style with clip ability.

So

I put my old leads into the Klein.
DEAD NUTS STABLE..
All ranges stable.

I believe the tip metal on the leads is to protective. So the tips themselves cause issues.
I will experiment with the leads to see if I can sand them some to get pos. readings.
Anyone having issues with stability should try another set of leads.
The minor thing is that the display defaults to ac. So a button push is all that is necessary.
Not sure if I can change that.
I need to “Read the owners manual dumbass.”
Overall it’s ok. Good size screen. A backlight…
Nice volume on the beeper.
Really nice 500ma range. My old one was 200.
And the ma wake mode on Toyota is like 400 so I had to keep switching range from
10amp to ma and use a test lead so the circuit would not open and restart the sleep timer.
Retested my old one and again, nada..

Goodmorning crew! Hope everyone is having a good day. I haven't looked at all the post but enough to see what that mystery old tool tech answer was.
I'm struggling to get my awake hours back to daytime. They let us go a little early like 2 AM Thursday. I struggle through the day but a nap here n there. Crashed about 8:30 PM then wide awake at midnight

Was thinking about going for a drive to Lincoln and do a little shopping. Stretch the legs on Tacoma, only driven once in the last 7 weeks.
