$860 later. More grab, but still lots of pedal travel.
    New SS lines
    OEM master cylinder
    Upgraded pads
    New calipers
& bled multiple times (including suggestion above)
Rears all looked good according to shop.
Kinda at a loss. Maybe it is what it is at this point? Not thrilled with performance still.

How's the parking brake? Does it set down by the floor or up higher?

I can get my foot under it with normal pressing, but close. Its not all the way down or stopping early.

They said, they looked great. Can you elaborate?

They look great because the auto adjusters don't keep them tight enough for the rear brakes to do much of anything. So, many of us here adjust them manually a couple times a year and make them tighter than the factory procedure. I adjust mine with the wheel and drum on until the shoes just begin to drag lightly.

Haven't had this specific issue on my Tacoma, but when I replaced the calipers on my TSX, my car was in a bad place in my driveway, so I ended up moving it before bleeding the system. Pretty sure I introduced air into the ABS module because I must have bled the system 4 or 5 times before taking it to the Acura dealer and specifically telling them to bleed the air out of the ABS module. They did, and it gave me a solid brake pedal again.

I did install a BBK including SS lines on my Tacoma, and that made a world of difference in brake feel and distance, but I'm overdue adjusting my rear brake shoes. I'm sure they need a slight tweak. Hadn't even thought about that until reading this thread.

Did you have the ABS module bled by someone with the correct tool to do so?

Yeah, the shoes don't show bad wear, but they aren't adjusting correctly. If they checked the adjustment then ok, maybe not, but, the auto adjuster doesn't always adjust and if it's just a bit out, you'll get a lot of pedal travel. I need to replace the adjuster on mine because its corroded and doesn't adjust it as it's supposed to. I manually adjust mine to get a firmer pedal.

My fronts are fine, and I've bled them. I've heard this from several ppl as well as threads here.

Hopefully, this helps. It drive me nuts.

Quick check:. Take your rest wheels off... See if you can easily pull the drum off. If you can, they need adjustment. If it's a struggle, spin the rear drum/wheel and listen for a little drag... If you don't hear it, they need adjustment.
