I have nextdoor app neighbors like that, latest news is someone has been defecating on someone's front lawn.
Sounds like a Karen getting a message from another neighbor.

 

That app is an absolute thorn in my side at work. The amount of "I saw on NextDoor, this car drive down the street at midnight and it doesn't looks like it belongs here, so they must be casing the neighborhood" calls is absurd. Then the people want in person response and extra patrols, get pissed off when we tell them we won't do it for speculations and our staffing is shit.

Also, tell me again why a silver sedan or truck, usually the most common models on the road, "Doesn't belong". Just because you've never seen it before? Oh and you are out of the house at work for 10 hours a day so you can't see every car the drives through?

One of the dads at my church did "shop class" around when I was in 7th-8th grade. A group of us went and were walking home with birdhouses we had made and a woman called the police on us and followed us til they showed up. My friends mom was pissed lol

 

I was that suspicious person a few days ago. Guy on Marketplace typo'd his address, so I was a block away trying to read house numbers in the dark and wondering what I was missing. I was sure I'd get a questioning from someone.
