Pass, too 80’s for that rig. It’s not going to protect anything in a collision.

I would pass. These are called the “damage multiplier” for a reason.

    More damage.

And brush guards are out of fashion. Lo-pro bumpers are what the masses are flocking to.

4th gen will have factory winch option. Winch will be powered by the hybrid battery. Available only on TRD Pro Hybrid. Gas milage will be worse than non-hybrid model.

Every now and then you will still see some soccer mom's Escalade going down the road with one of those stupid brush guards on the front.

Many, many different styles of bumpers out there. Some are slim, others have more hardware than Baron von Underbite. Some require cutting, others are damage multipliers. As was said, Google a few to see if it tickles your fancy.

    Work in progress...
Depend on the size of the deer and the speed of the impact, best I can guess.

Brush guards that are weak are more known as damage multipliers because the bar can break off and be sent into a part that wouldn't be damaged if there wasn't one. Arb one is tested if that's what you're into or the new low-profile bumpers work great too!

My last 4 trucks/suv - 2 hit deer. The ones I had a "brush guard" on never hit one - so, I can tell you 100%, they work. :D

I hadn't had my '21 long when I hit a damn deer that jumped out of heavy cover on a tiny dirt road (not high speed). If I had this guard on (pic) damage may have been nothing? Yes, like many opinions here, I had misgivings about a brush guard... then I saw this one by Armordillo - easily the best looking one I've seen - does not look like the passe designs of "yesteryear". It has 4 attachment points (the old ones usually just under bumper - yes they would fold) - and it's the most solid one I've owned. I like it.
Hunting buddy in Canada has the big ARB bumper/guard type thing. BIG bucks, BIG weight, MPG hit - his words not mine... but he has absolutely destroyed 3 deer and the truck came thru w/ flying colors....

Does look sturdy that's for sure. Looks like it's at least partially blocking the TSS sensor though. Any issues with error messages?
