Hey I have a super white trdor and I'm looking into traction boards.

I've been in some narly snow and mud here in colorado and know that I need one that will be easily findable( buddy almost lost some tan ones).

That leaves orange and red, what color should I get for the general use of and for style points?

If you truly don't care about color, perhaps consider resale value like which color may resell for more just in case you ever switch to another product

I got some bright green recovery boards ones because they were the cheapest, they arent maxtrax, but they have worked well.

Update: Decided on orange after flipping a coin, but still love red... I'm indecisive lol, thanks for the answers if anyone has any more inputs/pictures/stories that would be great. Glad knowing I'm not the only one that has almost lost a set of traction boards lol:)

Dunno, I just came across them whilst out at an offroad gear shop about a year ago, and theyve sat in the back of my truck since. They are great for desert sand recovery, havent had a chance to use them in the snow yet. The plastic teeth do wear down after a few uses, but thats about it.

Edit: If I remember when I'm next in my truck I'll have a look for the brand

Sweet, looking for cheaper options too, but that's great to hear that they are still good!

Spend the money and get Maxtrax. I've used them several times but two of those times they have absolutely saved my ass. i will forever be indebted to them. Just don't be one of those people that buys them to pretend you use them.

It's not too late to return them and get the pink ones.

Then get your truck vinyl wrapped. You'll be able to see both of them in the snow.

I'm in full support of this. Mostly because I've only ever used my Maxtrax (Red) to bail other people out. I'd love to have a pink set and call them "bitch trax".

I was going to get orange because they would show up but I couldn’t resist getting the tan one to match my taco.besides they have orange straps on them so you can pull them out of the muck.

I went with red. Small disclaimer... in different lighting they either look red or orange. I had to get up close to them a few times to make sure I got the right ones.
