your actual ticket isn't in your hand until 24-48hr before the show and has a no resale. You buy it you own it. If you were to resell it you would have to do it 24hrs before the show, print it out and then resell it...in person.

True what is theoretically possible and what is reality of the situation are two different things.

Monopolies one company that owns everything are often broken up, or blocked from acquiring other companies. There's nothing stopping one person from owning all of the individual companies, or shares in all of the companies.

That wouldn't be a monopoly any longer, but that person corporations are people. Can still control all of those individual companies. The end result might still be better for the consumer.

I can't recall going to a TM event since I was in my early to mid teens, at that age I wasn't buying tickets.
