GAME CHANGER. My old place had a 6'2', maybe, door opening. My brother, 6'4", had to duck otherwise he would hit his head.

I'll tell the wife an accountant told me it's in our best financial interest to buy mods for the truck. Thanks!!

So many financially smart people here. I've learned so much about how to properly invest my money.

This was a selling point for me at my new place. 8' doors. I can pull in with the roof basket on, and probably even with a kayak if I really wanted.

I don't know if I'd even be able to open my door in our garage.. and that's if it was empty

I'm happy with my setup now over my first place. A foot taller would be nice to be able to run the RTT from spring to fall. Debating on selling the RTT and topper for a GFC though. We want to go camping more to be able to justify it better.

Garage fits the truck like a glove. No heat and no room. Just a place to wait out the winter... I take it to work if I need to work on it for the six months of ick.

The shock upgrade process continues. Spoke with AccuTune (all week...) about options and it seems I am back to Dobinsons. Never was excited about the Fox option to begin with-bad history from my bike days. Now to convince the wife that the expenditure is appropriate going into the holidays because of the 15% off... Get some now and the rest in the spring is my thinking. New tires in the fall, lockers in the spring etc. etc. Road map to financial ruin! But it brings me joy

Funny enough, I happy to know of at least half a dozen events next year for camping with a particular online truck forum...

    Don't forget new wheels!

Gotta get back to the UP-know some places to share... scratchy, but fun though. Also need to do my Rocky Mnt crest route... I have it mapped and planned just need 16 days and a kindred soul. Durango to Casper-dirt EVERY day (and at least one pass every day...)

Haven't been off road with them yet, but I was pretty impressed with the quality of the Rek Gen mud flaps I put on recently. 15% off sale going on now too.
