All depends on needs, heck the Tacoma is every bit as big as my 1989 full sized Silverado was...

And work on the S10, that thing always needs something. Right now the 4 wheel drive quit working.

I do exactly that. Rotating what gets used in the winter is how I have had the same ZR2 for 23 years.

Cause people are scared of the snow, I went out and practiced driving in it when I was learning. I was shocked when I later found out most people don't do this. Then when they inevitably need to go out in it at some point, guess what? the don't have a clue what there doing. I had the make my wife go out and learn how to do it, when we first met she would get stuck on 1/4" of snow.

I put covers on my Kawasaki Mule and my KLR 650 when I'm not using them too.

Living in Florida all my life, this is a new concept. I never thought that that was a thing up north.

We ride our dual sport motorcycles in the woods and small towns in northern Michigan. The last time I rode in a city I almost got killed half a dozen times. Cell phones have made people in cars the most dangerous things on the road.

It’s ok, takes one to know one. I spilled a little oil in my engine bay doing my last oil change, detailed the whole engine bay. But the last bits were dripping off the frame for a couple days. So I refused to park on my driveway for a while, parked on the grass. But I can’t ever be sure there won’t be one last drop that wants to fall on the driveway, so now I don’t know if I’ll ever park on the driveway again.

One cannot have too many mid sized 4WD trucks. This one got new tires today, Westlake SL369 AT's.

I agree with you and that’s a nice s10! I plan on keeping my Taco for years and wouldn’t mind having a few of them, lol. Toyota has the frame issues but how bad does the salt affect other manufacturers frames from your experience?

For any vehicle being parked on concrete for long periods of time. Notice the wobble when first driven ?
Tires should not be stored directly on a concrete surface. The concrete surface may become damp or frozen, or contaminated with spilled chemicals which may adversely affect the tire’s condition. Tires can be stored upright or horizontal but always on a flat, clean piece of wood or OSB.

This has nothing to do with snow, drivers just aren't on the look out for bikes that share the same roads.
As far as snow, i learned to drive on snow, and ice back in the 60's being in new england seeing lots of it. I've done oval racing on ice with modified snowmobiles as well with bikes. It can be lots of fun if set up correctly for it.

Did some ice pick racing on my YZ250 on the lake (friggin so much fun!) and did mini MotoGP racing at the local indoor go-kart track in the winter on slicks with my XR70 (had swapped a built 114 into it). Absolute carnage, grown assed adults and midget bikes flying everywhere

Ive done the multiple vehicles for different seasons/purposes thing before. I find that it becomes a lot of work and expense to maintain all of it. Over time, it seems to cost more simply cuz of the basics (tires, routine maintenance, fees). Id just rather have my one vehicle for everything DD at this point. Plus, "Lot Rot" is a real thing. Vehicles like to be driven and tend to act funny after sitting for extended periods of time.
With that said, OP seems like the type to consistently stay on top of his shit. Not let it sit too long, get the fluids moving, etc.
Do what works for you. I suspect that 4WD issue on your Cheby might make you reconsider and the Taco will be out of the garage in no time...:D
