Fred Meyers. Only one.

 

You guys seem to find some good ones at Fred Meyers and Dollar General. I don’t have either of them around me. Dollar General’s are around but I’ve never seen a Fred Meyers.

 

I've never bought anything else at a Dollar General.. never heard of a Fred Meyers.

 

If you have Kroger it's the same thing, same ownership.

I go to a hot wheels show the second Sunday of every month. There’s a few guys there that I buy from that ain’t bad. 1 for 2$, 3 for 5$. It’s tomorrow. Usually go and have a coffee with some friends and take a look around.

 

One of the reasons I will never have a complete set of HWs is because of the store "exclusives" - Kroger has several for 2022.

I am looking for a green and a black version of this fire truck more than anything else - They're older and not currently made so the place you're going might be the best chance of finding one or both of them. I think the green one said Forestry or something similar but the black one might also be a bomb squad truck.. doesn't really matter the wording.. it's the color for me.

 

I’ll keep an eye out and ask a few of the sellers I know

One thing I miss is a race track they use to have. You buy a car for $1 and they have races all morning. Winners move up and race to a final winner who wins a limited addition car. Who ever was in charge of it left it out in the rain and it got ruined.

 

Maybe it's time to build a new one! I think you recently posted a photo of that right?

 

Yes I did but I don’t mind posting them again. I told them I would gladly pitch in money and help build a new one. Bigger And better.

It’s a show in Marlboro Mass. once a month. Bunch of tables selling stuff. To help pay for the hall and the coffee and donuts, they have a bucket of cars and you can buy one for a $1 and they put your name on it. Then they start racing two at a time and winners move on to the next race and so on until the final winner. Usually a limited car or car set. They have raffles for treasure hunt cars and even an unopened case of cars.

 

Just ordered Johnny’s 930 Turbo from cyberpunk 2077.

 

There’s a gate at the top the cars sit against and they just lift the lever on the side. The gate has a wire the runs down to the finish line that will read the time and winner. This is the car I won the last time.
