Yeah, probably more of a want than a need, but isn't that true for most of the truck related purchases we make? :D

I ended up ordering the Tekton set with the 3/8" and 1/2" drives. I've never had a 3/8" drive and I get pissed when I keep losing my 1/2" to 3/8" adapters. Not the nice split beam design I wanted to get, but it will be nice to have the 3/8" for those lower end torques. From what I've read, the lower 20% of range of a torque wrench is generally the least accurate, and I was using the bigger 1/2" drive.

I think those are the ones I’ve had for years. They work great.

Yes, went with the Harrop E-locker
Only got up it the 1 time that you spotted. Tried a few time since and failed. I think the hole on the right got dug out too much. Soon as I get a front tire to that point it's game over, that tire just spins.

The deed is done, took about 4 hours to swap the leafs, shocks, brake lines and bleed them, found a nail in one of my tires, pulled it out and didn't leak so that's nice. Will get pics tomorrow but I'm happy it's done!

18" ? That's not even breaker bar territory. You need 3 ft min :D

Nice, I'm on my 2nd year with mine, little bit of a learning curve but love it so far. Since I mainly work from home I wanna be comfy during the day and it helps my dad sells wood pellets haha!

Nah. Everything could be torqued with an 18" breaker, and if you needed anything more than 18" to remove something, that rusty bolt was gonna break anyway. :sawzall:

Not with enough BG EnForce. That stuff will melt rust.

I’ve got most of the tekton collection.. it’s super nice stuff.

if you are gonna get some, order it direct. Free shipping (faster than Amazon) and you get 10% rewards on every order.

I’ve only had one thing break in all the years I’ve been using and the warranty process was super easy. Just sent them a picture of it and sent a new one out right away.

A lot of sets have 34 and 36.. and I’ve not seen a retail store with one in stock.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
1 1/4" and 1 3/8" respectively, well, close enough at that size that you're not going to hurt anything.
