DialDim is installed, install was actually pretty easy once all the panels were off, I got one set of leads up to the front for the driving lights, I put the amber fog on there for giggles tonight.
All the features of the dialDim work well, I really like the strobe with the horn.

Tomorrow will be testing the 3D printed reducers even further and probably printing a set at 100% infill so they don’t crack.

Also planning on putting loctite on the clamping screws and I may even put a dab of superglue between the bracket and reducer to ensure that doesn’t walk under vibration.

Have you considered the Honda NC750X? The pre 2023 could be had in an auto or manual transmission, but it looks like the '23 is auto only. Fairly sure you can get cruise and everything else on it, and it's not absurdly expensive. They put the tank under the seat so the usual tank spot is a trunk.

Yes I have considered the nc750, it was on my short list. But no cruise for it.

Increase your number of shells and print with 50% infill. 100% tends to delaminate and isn’t any stronger. 3 or 4 shells works better to strengthen a part than more infill.

Got my driving lights mounted, took a short ride in the cold and wet and they’re still solid, had the lights turned down to 10% and aimed on the same horizontal line as the high beam.

Gonna take another ride here in a little bit to some families house and eat dinner and get to try the lights in the dark.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I have to wear steel toes for work, so the commute is in work boots. MC boots most of the rest of my riding. As for lace up boots, WTH do manufacturers have to put such long damned laces in them. I swear, every pair of lace up boots I buy, the first thing I do is replace the laces with shorter ones.

On my MT-09, if my laces ever get caught, it's always on the heel guard. Never anything else.

The A-Stars riding shoes I have have a velcro strap to secure the laces. edit: Forma shoes, I first looked at A-Stars.

Well I own this now.. number 5 in the collection!IMG_5834.jpg

'99 Victory V92C. It's #756 built with 30k miles and in great shape. It's my first experience of a "big" bike and I'm loving it so far.

nice bike! Here are my last couple. Currently on the Tuono. The RSV4 is an animal but just too uncomfortable for the riding I do.

Edit: welcome to the forum also!

I think the comfort or lack of with all the sport bikes I’ve owned is dependent on rider height and so forth. I’m 5’10 and old so I think I’ve molded into the hunch back posture lol!

The issue for me wasn’t so much my height as it was my girth. Lol. I do miss it though.

hopefully you’re in a location where you still have time to get out and enjoy it for a bit before the weather turns.

This will change with age. I rode the Buell in my avatar to Laconia, NH and back twice back in the late 1990's and was fine doing the 450 + miles one way. Now, 20 odd years later 100 miles on that bike and I'm hurting the next day and eating Advil like candy. I still love the bike and it still puts a smile on my face, but I sure can't put in a long day on it like when I was younger.

I can't do the crotch rocket thing, 10 minutes and my hands are numb. So it's upright and comfy posture for me. Even though I dig the sport bikes I can't ride them for very long, and yeah I'm old and fat now too, lol.

    Low beam

And high beam + factory fogs + D3 Driving lights.

Just got them in and they are comfy and warm. No noticeable movement restriction and seems like the right warmth for our type of winter. Low this morning when I went out was only 44deg but they broke the wind well. Thanks again for the suggestion.
