This could be several things, unless your tires are worn out I doubt they are the cause. Nobody here can diagnose a shake from their phone so before you go out & spend $100's or even $1000's on parts/tires to throw at the problem you should have it looked at by a professional. Find a local reputable & honest shop & let them have a look.

Yes so true thank you. I think I’ll bring it to the dealership and see just what they say.

For now before you do anything. Rotate the tires from front to rear and see if the vibration goes away. If it does it’s one of the tires or the wheels

^^Highly recommend the above. Plus checking the general condition of the tie rod ends, bushings, and struts / shocks. Also check the insides of the wheels for extra accumulation that could of thrown off the balance.

A "local reputable & honest shop" is NOT the dealership.

My guess is the Center Support bearing (Carrier Bearing) on the rear drive shaft, you can check it by getting the rear suspension unloaded and wobble the driveshaft side to side and look for excessive play.
mine would vibrate from about 5mph to about 15mph smooth out then vibrate again after 60mph.

Thats news to me. I've been driving since 1974 and have only needed to have the alignment done once. And that was in 1985.

I didn't read the whole thread, but have you checked U-Joints.

Yeah it sure has. Like vehicles being built with far superior front end geometry.

Over the past 30 years I recall having a front end/4 wheel alignment done only 4 times, each time was needed because of either swapping a front end suspension component or adding a full lift. Unless you feel there's an issue routine alignment is unnecessary.

That is a great idea. Actually, I think I will try that. Thank you so much for the recommendation.

I did that last night I went under the truck and check the driveshaft. There is no wiggle room or any play in it. It only vibrates 20 to 30 mph, then after that it smooth out.

Good advice right there and that would be my guess as long as the inside and the outside of your rims are clear of any debris, good luck

Mine did that after I lifted it. 2° shims fixed it. I know you haven't lifted yours but the problem is exactly the same.

Reading through the thread…big difference between “shaking” and “vibrating”. For the needle bearing, I’ve only personally experienced this after relatively low amount of wear and a lift, so in my case vibration. Perhaps severe wear closer to failure could result in OP’s symptoms, even in a non-lifted truck. One way to isolate would be to sit in the passenger side while someone else drives, the symptoms should be much more muted there.

And may not be the bearing at all, so the advice to try to rule out tire issues first is great, along with considering an alignment. Try the low hanging fruit first. If no solution there, move along to those potential failures that are more difficult to diagnose and repair. Ask people in your network for recommendations for a good independent shop.

Hope it’s something simple like a tire issue.

Variable speed shaking is almost always the u joint. Check all three between your transmission and rear diff. If you can turn it at all with your hands. You found your problem. Fortunately u joints are a relatively cheap easy repair.
