The reason that the 9100 has two wires instead of 1 is due to current limitations of the terminal. By using two positions in the connector it can provide double the current capacity of a single terminal. Those two wires are meant/designed to be combined when feeding the output circuit.

This describes my issue. Which started a long time ago. Just sent mine in. Guessing it was a bad batch.

Even if you don't hook it up, the other wire will still be getting power when that switch is on. I know you can effectively cap a live wire, but my brain still says that having it connected properly is the safer option.

They're both already common so connecting it achieves nothing if the current can be safely carried by one wire.

I realize that it may not be necessary to carry the current. I just don't like having wires with live voltage that are only capped and not part of a circuit. There is zero advantage to doing that, so why risk having a live wire that just ends in space when its just as easy to keep it part of the circuit? It takes zero extra time to solder or butt splice the extra wire in at the same time. Admittedly I'm weird about that stuff though. I have liquid electrical tape on my bus bar terminals to make sure they stay insulated.

Don't have to attach a wire to that 2nd terminal in the first place if it's just redundant.

Just got mine back from switchpro new serial number so different module. Plugged it right in and everything seems to be working great. No explanation on what was wrong. Either way great company to just replace the unit

I got shipping from them today. Will see but would expect a new one probably considering how fast they turned it around.

    few things here and there.
    Question for y’all.

I have “burst strobe”, or whatever it’s called, enabled for a few of my lights.. but it doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong? It will flash on and off (slowly) but the strobe could be beneficial. Thoughts?

Do you have double trigger enabled for strobe? As in you have to press the button twice in under 1 second. That's how I have mine setup.

Im going to be real honest when I tell you I’m unsure. I just know I clicked the options strobe for the light I’d like it to be.

I don't have mine back from service yet so I can't remember the exact setting or where it is. Will look at the manual to point you there in a bit.

Got my new unit in. Works perfect. And they even loaded my originals settings on there near exactly. So didn't have to reconfigure too much.

Can you provide additional information on your set up with the circuit breakers or a diagram of some sort?

Inquiring on the what wires are connected to the circuit breakers.

I don't know the specifics to that setup for certain, but I'm pretty sure those CBs are fed directly from the two wires coming off the block at the battery positive terminal. One CB would feed the switchpros module on the right, and the other CB would feed the blue sea fused distribution block just to the left of the switchpros module.

Can anyone help me find the high beam wire to connect the pink trigger wire to? My SP pink and white wire are already sheathed together, so I'd prefer to tap into the headlight itself rather than the fuse box. I have the non-LED headlight harness for the 3rd gens.

Not sure if I have an explicit sku for that and I’m rather behind but it is in my wheelhouse.

I think(?) this is my high beam. Do you know which wire I would tap into to connect the pink trigger wire?
