I wish I still had it. Mine was a '76 model, too, I bought it new when I was 22.

 

Mine was also a ‘76. I owned it for about 10 years. Recently sold it to my best friend. As much as I loved it…it didn’t get used like it should have been. It was badass!

Are we taking bets on which one gets used first? The kamado or this one.

 

I did but pellet poopers are just so convenient for weeknight/quick cooks. Don’t have to wait 45min for a ceramic cooker to heat up just to grill some burgers for 7mins.

I’m down to ~40lbs of pellets I think. May need a restock soon.

Is the electric right next to the gas feed in the same outlet/cubbie? Only asking cause I just had a pressure valve fail on my burner and flames coming out and you’re putting them both in the same socket from what I see in the pic. I could be wrong but fuck.. no.

 

the propane line was dangling down. the griddle hooks to a propane tank. It's just the angle of the photo, looks odd.

 

I need to get a new chimney for my kamado joe classic I. Don’t like wet charcoal after I forget to put the cover on and it rains.
