Friendly reminder that trying to fight someone online is about as effective as throwing a bagel at a bulldozer.

 

I too like to work double for absolutely no greater pay. In fact, under constant threat of being fired for even pointing out how my boss is factually incorrect.

Seems like a dream.

Just like every other cat turd, it’s best buried and never smelled again.

 

Imagine being paid half of what someone else is earning doing the same job somewhere else, but they aren’t berated or have to work in unsafe abusive conditions.

Not leaving and being okay with it?

THAT is stupid.

I never even intimated that I have a crystal ball as to when or even if it might fail. But coming back here after two days with some sort of "gotcha" that it hasn't failed proves exactly what?

Elon has absolutely no idea what he is doing, who he is firing, how operations worked there. That's blatantly obvious, based on the people who did work there, the non-Twitter engineers that have laughed at his very basic understandings, and things on public record. I'm just here to watch it burn.

Whatever. I think he and the people he’s put in charge know more than you think.

No one is charge except him, and he has no idea what he’s doing. He needs the few remaining employees he has left just to keep everything afloat.

Elon fired most of his compliance teams, meaning there's no one left respond to or address GDPR complaints.
Friendly reminder that Europe levied a 746 million Euro fine against Amazon last year for non-compliance with GDPR.
GDPR compliance is incredibly complicated and takes an efficient team of competent employees to maintain, including having an administrative team presence in an EU nation, which is up in the air at this point if that team even still exists.
