One of my favorites. Have a couple cases and some shoe boxes and grocery bags of stuff.

I prefer straight trucks, but what are you hauling. Looks heavy.

Start pulling over every time she calls. Make sure she knows it, too. "It's too distracting to talk on the phone, even hands free, and it's a safety issue. I have to pull over when you call." Put the delays squarely in her lap. When she bucks, and she will, go over her head in a very professional email describing your safety concerns and the delays being caused by frivolous calls from your supervisor. One of two things will happen:
    1. Her boss will yank her leash.
    2. They'll fire you and you can tag them for unemployment while you go find a better company.

Well it's Monday. 4 days this week, we don't get Friday off like every other company we deal with. But I guess I'll take the 4 days and enjoy Thanksgiving with my family.
    Be safe drivers.

Yeah, my company loves to tell us how they give us an extra day off. They don't. They just move the work days around, we are still working the same amount of days and hours for the week.

I’d take that any day over residential lift gate pallets of solar panels. I have no idea how they think I can get a 2k pound pallet of solar panels that’s 8 ‘ long off the lift gate :bananadead:

I think it was some type of insulation. Yeah me too. I have a harder time backing this up than a 48 or 53 foot trailer though. It’s definitely odd switching back and forth throughout the week with a multitude of different trailers/ the straight truck.

Another 12 hour day. They can work the crap out of you because there won't be any time and a half until you get 48 hours because of the holiday pay.

Been doing this for many years and learned a long, long time ago to save a vacation day or sick day especially for the Wednesday before thanksgiving.

Well here's an interesting turn of events. At the last minute on Friday after 8.5 hours of work they said you guys are done and you can take a vacation day for Friday. I bet that was real hard for my boss to tell me that after her battle with me, lol.
