    I buy bananas.
    The bananas don't get eaten.
    They either need to be thrown away or made into banana bread.
    When made into banana bread, my wife likes to bulk them up with something, usually oatmeal.
    We had no oatmeal so she went with peanut butter.

    I had an aunt that would use ripe bananas in a chocolate chip cookie recipe.. those were fantabulous! Sadly.. do not have that recipe

    Texas chilli is closer to an Adovada/Adobada (This is a recipe I just learned about actually!)

    They take peppers, blend them up like a tomato-les salsa, for all intents and purposes. Then add meats to it.

    It's delicious. But it's like how there's New England and Manhattan clam chowder. One is a chowder, one is a tomato soup with clams, but is called "chowder" like a heathen.

    Hate to say it - if memory serves me right, chili started the Texas way, the addition of beans/tomatoes is the heathen side of chili :rofl:
