Oh yeah we had to get the prescription food for our other cat that passed away a few years ago, for his diabetes. Shit was crazy pricey at the time

 

Cheapest we found it was through Chewy, and we just had to upload the prescription one time.

Get Bronx' food via subscription and we've got it set for him and Biscuit every...3-4 months?

This is the story of my life. My cat Ray just sits under the stairs waiting to attack my dogs.

Usually a sign of overweight is if they have a lot of loose skin above their shoulders. My girl Venice has that and we've been cutting back, but she shows no chonk otherwise. Milo is lighter but way more active, always walking and pacing during the day and we feed him more and his weight stays consistent. Venice is lazy, she sleeps most of the day and when we get home just snuggles while Milo patrols the house. The point is they both weigh the same, around 90lbs. Your new dog is a big dog in general but figure out how energy levels and go from there. If he is sleeping all day then cut back, if he is awake and wandering the house then he probably burns plenty and feed him a cup a day. Just my thoughts.

 

For what its worth there are more dedicated and tech trails closer to where you'll be, as well as over the border in WV. Lots of fire roads as well. You'll also be near George Washington Nat Forest which is cool. Pott's Mountain Jeep Trail is pretty popular up there, amongst others.

Who knows, once you live there you'll could start sniffing out stuff you don't easily find online.
