Front/rear dash cam that allows instant review

I have the Vantrue S1 and like it but my issue is this. I can’t rewind and view it on the screen or to my phone in case of an incident in Mexico I’d like to be able to show the cop exactly what happened right there on the spot. Is this available on any systems?

I just keep a micro SD card reader compatible with my phone (usb-c) in the glove box.

Does that model not come with a wireless review mode? That's surprising if it doesn't.

 

Not that I could find. I dont pay for cloud its only on the card. They def dont advertise it unless its buried deep.

 

That's wild. Both of my cameras came with an app so you can review, screenshot, download, or delete footage on your phone or laptop. Makes it easy to pull without touching the card.

I briefly looked up the specs of the vantrue, and it looks to be a nice well equipped cam. It's just kind of surprising that it lacks that one feature.


Without it, a card reader is a solid bet. That's easy enough to do.

 

Same. My Garmin Mini has an app. I just need to start the truck to go to "Live Feed" or temp/saved files. I can even change settings on it, mark a file to be saved, format the card, etc...

 

I’ve had mine long enough that live view wasn’t common. I’d have to check if the file format is compatible or if I’d need to download a blackview viewer to my iPhone.

Anybody have a confirmed card reader for the iPhone?
