Haha. Mine got here today as well. Was hoping to give them a try tomorrow morning. I like that they’re not super bulky so hoping for good results.

I think you'll like them. First thing my old lady said was "why isn't there hard shields on every finger, you can still lose a finger"

I just gave her the bond quote :D

I’m almost a senior citizen, the only thing that will change my desire to ride is the casket or urn they put me in…

I am a senior citizen and I still like to ride, albeit a little slower and more relaxed, but I still very much enjoy it.

I arrived at the rider class of “Grey Beard” a few years ago. My only worry is one day I won’t be able to recover one of those poor stops when you’re leaning just a bit to much. When I start doing Artie Johnsons’ at traffic lights I guess it will be time to stop riding

I think at that point I'll look for a sidecar rig. Friend of mine has a Ural with the driven axle to the sidecar so it's a 2wd. Not very fast at all but can go a lot of places and has a lot f carrying capacity.

I installed my Denali D2 lights, still need to make final adjustments. Mounted them low the same way they did on their demo bike. I don't love the wires going down the frame but routing them underneath isn't a great option either. Not a lot of hiding room a naked bike.

Also swapped in amber lenses - left side is spot and right side is fog as recommended. I got these mainly for daytime visibility to others vs. riding at night. Decided not to spend the extra money for the DialDim controller, but like how the harness is setup to easily swap to it later. I used the supplied switch and mounted it on the back side of the upper triple tree clamp

Looks clean @FreshOldTaco if you ever add additional driving lights you’ll probably want the dial-dim but with the D2’s it’s less important.

I have to say now that I have my D3’s mounted with the hybrid lenses installed I’m a huge fan of the Dial-Dim, particularly for my use case where the driving light is right beside the blinker.
It’ll also be nice when I get the lower light mount and have my amber D3 fogs as secondary blinkers.

If/when I get barkbusters or something similar I would like to run a set of T3 switchbacks on the handguard for a little more angle visibility.

Thank you, and your setup looks great too. The added functionality you get with the DialDim controller is super cool. Like you said if I was doing another set of lights I would have gotten it. Spoke with Jesse at Denali and he recommended the same.

The T3 switchbacks are sweet. They make nice quality stuff and also excellent customer service.

A buddy at work wants to buy my KTM and I have been thinking of getting a Yamaha r7. I think the deal is done. So just wait till the spring for the new bike to come in.2023-yamaha-yzf-r7---main.jpg 20221011_175348.jpg
