Not sure how to make this a “site wide” post?….

I thank you all for sharing knowledge, I join these forums to learn and share anything I might have to offer.

Starting right now until New Year’s Day I ask all of you a favor….

Please forget about Super white paint problems, plastic oil filter housings, wheel issues, chewed wiring harness etc etc.. Be happy you’re breathing, have freedom and the ability to fix and overcome these petty issues. I promise you there’s a person out there that will be more than happy to drive a truck for the next 20 years with funky paint and a few plastic parts. Which leads me into my challenge for you all…

While we are all driving around picking up pies, turkey, potatoes or what ever I ask you to give a homeless vet or person in need $1 dollar or more so they can eat.

I know y’all can do this so let’s get it done…

Happy Holidays to you all, be safe out there…

    Thank you again,

    Robert

I hear yuh, I’m seeing new folks and not the usuals in my area of the north end. Can’t say I like it, but the world seems to getting more complicated by the minute.

I won’t get into the “big guy” issue, we all know who the big idiot is lol!

I’m gonna focus on people eatin some grub

My wife and I buy and donate a few hundred dollars worth of food a month to a church food box. I have a load of Ragu, Spaghetti, powered milk and a dozen boxes of cereal ready to take to neighbors who stock the food box.
There are more than veterans who need food.
The out of luck families with small kids are our focus. My wife lived that dream over 60 years ago.

Thank you for the reality check. We often get locked into first world problems and forget how great it is just to wake up the next day.

Every year I'll look for a Vet wearing his Veterans cap. I do this as Im walking out of the supermarket. I'll say ''Thank you for your service" ''do you have a turkey yet for thanksgiving'' ? Then I ask them if they will accept the turkey that's in my wagon. Gave Korean War Vet a bird on Saturday morning. 24lb bird, he was quite thankful. I told him my uncle was in the Korean War, at the Chosin Reservoir . Its a great idea to help them out. Even other non service member old timers. Great idea broman.
