    We got a turkey breast too. Well, I should say I, as nobody else in the house eats poultry. I had a fryer planned, given the price of things, but when I saw the Honeysuckle breast, I thought, what the hell, it's Thanksgiving. I can have the fryer some other day.

    I usually try to get one of those in the spring so i can just slice it and freeze it for sammiches. cheaper and better than getting the slice stuff at the deli.
    I do love my turkey sammiches :hungry: Might look forward to having a sammich Friday than I do having thanksgiving dinner Thursday!

    I was informed today that she doesn't even necessarily need any Turkey, but I couldn't get any acceptable alternatives. I swear that I will just get a Costco rotisserie chicken tomorrow and reheat it in the oven on Thursday.

    I saw some funny ideas on how to use a lemon slice while cooking the turkey, to liven up the dining experience. :devil:

    Good morning. Busy day. Grandson has 1/2 day, so I will pick him up around 11:30. He's looking forward to the days off. Got to make and prep some food for tomorrow. Speaking of laundry, our dryer died last week. Ordered one from Lowe's, which came on Saturday, but that one didn't work of all things. So, I had to get Lowe's to replace the defective one. They dropped off another yesterday afternoon. Needless to say, there's plenty of laundry laying around the house to get done. Have a good one.
