She's not old enough to drink, but I'm pretty sure she is sober. Bipolar, but sober.

 

I can’t say age ever played any role in whether or not I “drank”.
There is nothing that can stand in the way of a teenager determined to “get into trouble”.

 

And it's going to come back and bite her in the ass eventually; I knew almost from the beginning that this was too good to be true.

 

I should have learned from my past experience with Rose not to hook up with bipolar women, and now I know not to hook up with anybody under 21 based purely on their maturity level. When I was 24, I kissed a 19-year old girl though...

 

I will rent a Suburban for a day and find a secluded parking lot before I do the deed in a bathroom; I don't care who the girl is or what she's like!

Seven hours from the excitement and optimism of a brand new romance to discovering that this wasn't a person you wanted to be with.

You got lucky on this one - it was only 7 hours of your life instead of 7 weeks, months or years.
Life is too short to waste spending time with selfish immature people.

 

Through a really good friend who doesn't seem to realize how crazy she is.

 

I kid you not, she was actually pissed that I didn't want to bang her in a mall bathroom, like she was doing me a favor...

 

Also, this behavior has resulted in potentially dangerous consequences for her. She admitted she's been drugged by a guy once...

 

On a completely separate note, I don't think I want to date any girl who has any form of autism spectrum disorder again; I have had horrible luck with them. Rose is the only autistic girl I was with who is legitimately crazy.

I'm going to give you another example. One of my friends, who is autistic, is dating a girl who is also autistic. She drives and works two jobs. They've been dating seven years and haven't even kissed. He complains about her constantly for numerous reasons. I may sound like a prick, but if six months or more have passed and I haven't even gotten a kiss, then I'm moving on; I have never had to wait that long for a kiss, and I tell my friend he should move on whenever he complains about his girl, but he just gets mad at me and tells me it's none of my business (even though he comes to me looking for advice in the first place ).

 

The first autistic girl I dated had a diagnosis of Aspergers, like me; I met her in college. She was nice, but she was a know-it-all who really didn't know anything, and only succeeded in irritating people when she went off on tangents practically lecturing them. My friends then-wife (now ex-wife) was with him at another friend's birthday party back in 2013. I have two friends who were both born on December 29th, 1988 so we celebrate their birthdays together.

My friend's ex was dressed up really nice, and this girl (who I was no longer dating by then and had unloaded on the friend whose birthday it was) made a really snarky comment in earshot of my friend and his ex about how it was stupid for people to dress up nice for birthday parties. My friend and his ex gave me an earful about this later on.

At that same party, my ex openly complained about the fact that my friend gotten sandwiches instead of pizza, which torqued off the whole party. She and her family moved to Florida in either 2015 or 2016, and I haven't had contact with any of them since probably 2017...

 

Only the last two were legitimately certifiable...

 

I refuse to date anybody with Bipolar Disorder now...

 

And I'm having serious second thoughts once again about ever dating a woman with autism again. Though isn't your wife autistic?

 

Yeah on the spectrum.

 

Problem with that is are they going to tell you? I think most women are a little bipolar regardless of what they tell you.

 

You got lucky, because I've had wretched luck with women on the spectrum. This one girl Jules who my friends tried to set me up with absolutely refuses to go out with me unless she has other friends with her; I actually walked out on a girl on the first date almost four years ago because I was of the understanding that it was a date. I showed up and she not only had three female friends with her, but I was expected to sit in a folding chair in the aisle...

 

Well, I was made aware beforehand that that chick who wanted a hookup in the mall bathroom had bipolar disorder. If it is well managed enough that it is barely noticeable or not noticeable at all, then I don't see a problem. However, I have had tremendously bad experiences with two consecutive bipolar women, so I think I've earned the right to be picky...
