    Thanks!
    The dialdim is cool, the Canbus controller is even cooler for the bikes that are “smart” enough for it.
    I don’t know if I’ve spoken to Jesse but I’ve spoken to two or three people there and they’ve all been great, definitely a good company to deal with.

    I have the t3 switchbacks on the back and I feel like they’ll be a good compliment to the front but once I get the D3 fogs installed I won’t need any additional lights and I should be more responsible with my spending.

    :rofl::rofl::bikewheelie2:

    Yes, I do have a tank trap in my downstairs bedroom. Keeps those pesky basement panzers at bay!

    For a second I thought you were practicing CQC house clearing drills in your house. That’s hardcore.

    Nope, 1 man CQB is a great way to end up on ice.

    NRL/PRS tank traps and barricades, plus IPSC for USPSA/2gun.

    She walked in, rolled her eyes, asked what I was doing, I told her I didn’t want to work on the bike outside in the 30 degree weather and she just said “understandable, just clean up your mess” and I really didn’t make a mess because I just washed it the other weekend.

    I try not to complain with her projects either so I’m sure that helps.

    Nice, curious to hear your thoughs on the R7 once you get it. Not gonna go for the anniversary paint scheme? I love that one personally. But the all white with red wheels is still very clean.

    Did another night ride tonight, with the driving lights and high beam I have about 6 seconds of down-road visibility on a non-reflective mailbox that blends into the woods at 70 MPH, when making a pass with the low beam only I have about 5 seconds at 40 MPH.

    Doing some rough math I estimate my useable beam distance with the driving lights to be just over 600 feet, where with the low beam I’m getting right at 300 ft.

    Kinda cool to see hard data instead of just saying “it’s really bright”.

    I bought a 2017 R6 in 17 but shortly after I had a major stomach surgery and went down to 95lbs and I just felt like a bull rider on that thing. SO this year I wanted different and picked up the KTM but bought a sxs two months later and got a lot more use out of the sxs. I am not the tallest and found the KTM just not for me I only put about 700km on it. Also the R7 is the twin cross plane motor which makes about 75 hp same motor as the MT-07 the R6 made in the 115 hp range and I don't think I need that much anymore. Its funny when your 18 you want to be out late cruising around bike or truck I hate driving at night now and I think I have become a bit of a chicken shit with the power. I am only 36 maybe I am growing up or getting old to fast.

    Nothing wrong with growing up. I specifically am in the dirt more than the street now because I find far more enjoyment in the controlled environment getting my adrenaline rush than riding on the street where some idiots mistake can lay me up or kill me. Especially with a 2 year old at home. Granted I still take the street to get to the dirt but it has for sure reduced the chances greatly.

    Then when your second kid is 1 1/2 some Tacomaworld member (@FreshOldTaco) decides to sell his SV650sf so you hop on a plane to Philly and ride one back.

    Bought myself a little Christmas gift(if the guy will hold it or let my buddy pick it up). Found a new 1 gallon rotopax for $50. Don't really need it for the bike, but I want that "Expo" look :rofl:
