Yes there is a name for this affliction and I know of a cure, but involves an injection. :D

Just foolin depending on what is squirted in they can usually be painless.
You have to stay relaxed and not flex the muscle to avoid bad things.
Just go to your happy place and it's over in a second.

Try looking away and imagining someone giving you a quick pinch with their fingernail. I see it as no worse than a bee sting (unless you're allergic to bees!) It's as quick as that. I know you can pull through, man. Like someone above said, visit that happy place and it'll be over before you know it.

Needles don't bother me too much except when I am at the dentist .

You know what I mean OP , when you're strapped down and you see that huge needle go into your mouth and they start prodding the top of your mouth what seems like a hundred times , and you can hear the needles " SCREECH " as they drag it across the bone .

    God I hate that .

Regular needles are fine though .

    neglect, mostly.
so do you have an appointment coming up or something? or are you just seeking advice because you assume at some point in your life you'll need a shot and be want to be prepared? . . . . .
my suggestion is to give blood on the regular.

    it saves lives,
it gets you used to needles,
and you can get drunk as a skunk afterwards off like 3 beers.
    win-win-win.

^the zit, he speaks the truth

also make sure you are well hydrated before you go in, it will sting less.

But... no one on here is going to say any magical words that are going to make your fear go away. It's all up to you.
I used to be a little scared of spiders and bugs and stuff (much like a certain mod on here) then I realized, F**K YOU SPIDER! I'M TOP OF THE F**KING FOOD CHAIN B*TCH! STOMP!

    problem solved.
