Mmmmm Red Iguana. Trade you for some Din Tai Fung?

I’m overdue for another Moab trip, time to get back down there.

Hey gunny do you (or anyone else) happen to know the part number for the TRD beadlock lug nuts? Id like to get a handful of spares to toss in my kit before they are obsolete.

The part number for the complete set is ptr27-35100 (lugs, locks, spline drive, and key)
For the locks and key only it is ptr27-34061
For a set of 6 lugs and spline drive it is ptr27-34060

The spline drive lug nuts (and locks for that matter) are standard McGard products, I recently bought some new lug nuts and key/tool since my locking lug nuts broke (the face sheared off, just leaving the body screwed on the wheel studs.

While they are made by McGard for Toyota, they aren’t as long. At least not any they sell on their site. Even the tool is shorter, which would possibly spin off some paint on the wheel.

Wait, really? I bought a package of spline drive lug nuts (#65357) and a new key (#65300), and they matched the Toyota/TRD boxed splined drive lug nuts perfectly. I most likely broke the locking lug nuts, as I installed longer wheel studs on my truck, and didn't take into account if the nuts would be tall enough (the splined ones are, the keyed ones, not so much :frusty:).

At least the ones I saw on McGards site compared to the ones I had for my Rock Warrior wheels, the McGard were shorter by about an inch or so.

Maybe the ones you have are a different Toyota lug kit than what I had.

Ah, okay, I didn't know the Rock Warrior style of wheels required a different length lug nut. I bought the TRD kit with my first set of faux Beadlock wheels, and have been using the same kit with a second set as well.

Edit: Wow, you weren't kidding, I just looked up pictures of the lug nuts from the installation kit (PTR27-89100) for the Rock Warrior wheels, they are easily another 1/2" longer than the lugs nuts for the faux Beadlock wheels. Learn something new everyday!

Ok speaking of our lugs… a local guy posted this asking if the TRD lugs will fit his spare when he changes it because his truck didn’t originally have these wheels. Did ours come with a specialty spare wheel to fit the special lugs? Or is it the same?

Same spare. I can’t imagine why the lugs wouldn’t work
