    There are several Horse Chestnut trees at the Club on the far end of the trap range.
    A few times during trap shoots they were blooming and about stunk us outta there.

    Here's the weird thing.
    There are a few Chinese families in town, who have a restaurant.
    We've seen them sneak onto the property and pick up the nuts.
    They must have thought they were like the Chinese Chestnuts they were familiar with.

    Wikipedia sez the nuts are "moderately toxic" and will cause "gastrointestinal disturbance" if ingested. :wink:

    The shells. I was sitting on the ground and leaned back one onto one of those and got the little spikes stuck on my palm. It didn't hurt, but a minute later my palm turned red, got bumps, itchy and the histamine response. :mad:
