    Any great deals on skid plates? I am still undecided on Oem or aftermarket. I would like to get as much clearance as possible while being aluminum to keep light. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Ive got the @CaliRaisedLed steel and like it. They have an aluminum one as well. I got it since it has the panel to get to the oil filter. Bought last year through @Truck Brigade for a great price!

    From the TRD off-road skid I doubt it was much. I didn’t measure so I can’t be sure. Not shoe how helpful this picture will be either but here you go.

    FYI to all, (@Wile_E_RedDog, maybe you think it's worth adding to the OP...) it appears SSO might be faking their sale, at least as of today.

    I saw the sale yesterday and went to see what it would work out to for their slimline bumper after the 20% off. It showed $511 in the cart for the barebones, bare metal bumper (20% off of $639). Decided I don't really need it.

    Well today, they sent one of those emails like "you forgot something in your cart" WITH an extra promo code (ImBack!), so I thought I'd go see what that did to the price. The code didn't work for the bumper - surprise, surprise - but now the price says $639 AFTER the 20% off (20% off $799). *Only my opinion here,* but I'd say their sale is a scam. In fairness, I know this is a strategy other companies use as well...

    I have found the person taking care of a companies website is usually lacking in skills to keep things on the fly working well. In all most all case, an email or call got the order placed correctly or explained my misunderstanding (sometimes not in the most polite way). @snwbrdr852 have you contacted them to see what gives. The automated emails of you left something in your cart and would X% off change that is ussually not an additional % off but rather just that % and bumps the price to full cost - that % regardless of how the email sounds like it reads. Fricking annoying as shussh. Bump them and let us know. The math does look fishy as you are suggesting.

    Keep in mind, most of these companies are guys who like doing the fabrication part of this and hate doing the business portion. This is likely what closed Mobtown's doors.

    No, I must have explained poorly. It has nothing to do with the coupon code - that was simply the thing that made me go back to look again today.
    The real point is that they changed the price on the bumper between yesterday and today such that the current 20% off price is just the same as the full price yesterday.
