Already fully welded, ground smooth, and ready for a belt sanding to make it even and get the crap off.
I need a break, so going to work tomorrow, and an eye exam to replace the glasses I fucked up yesterday, and table the bumper for a day. My arms are a bit numb. I feel young, but my body says otherwise.

That bumper kicked my ass after 2 days straight of grinding. Age did not benefit me in the endeavor

that airport is so nice, and so easy to get into and out of. Growing like crazy too. Too damn cold for me this time of year. 10 minutes from family house(s) to drop off or pick up. Cheap flights too. Hope you had an enjoyable trip.

I was use to DIA holiday security times and got there early, but even with it "busier" I was still through security and at my gate in 20 mins. I lived in Alaska for a few years and Montana feels like a good mix of Colorado and Alaska. Definitely growing like crazy, I was there a year ago in Oct and just in that year there's so much new stuff. Like all growing places the chain companies are moving in like Murdoch's, Harbor Freight, fast food joints, etc. Not much site seeing this time with my workload but still enjoyed the area. Got me some nice Schnee's hunting boots

Done with Frontier long ago and forever. Pissed me off with their BS (bags lost, golf clubs broken, extra fees, delays, cancelations, late flight crew, no slip so you sit on the tarmac,...) Could not give me a flight with them even if it was for free for life. But that is just my experience.

Took my truck into Groove Toyota off broadway for an oil change and tire rotation. I normally do most of the maintenance on my truck, but didn't have time this week. This is what they set my tire pressure at...CB01AB7F-14AA-400F-826E-3AF37487C201.jpg

Its hit or miss with them. I got my truck there and came with 3 free oil changes and rotations. First and 3rd visit were fine but the second one, my truck lit up like a christmas tree, they said it would all turn off after i drove a few miles. It didn't so i went back and they fixed it. Turned out they needed to reset and reinflate some stuff but yeah. Just depends on who ya get i guess

I'm with ya! Needed a quick and cheap flight to CA for a funeral and they had the best price by $150 under southwest. In a pinch, sure but i won't be jumping on that unlimited package just yet. Now...if southwest brought out a similar package id be down.

After belt sanding, palm sanding with 120 grit, then a good wipe down with some Naphtha, it's ready for a coat of primer.
Then a combo platter for me.

just ignore the welds on the mounting plates. Ran out of gas after the pretty surfaces were done and had to switch to flux core, which is ass ugly, but it's strong enough to pull out a Tacoma. :D

More concerned about ripping the stock bumper/frame mounts apart than the bumper. They were designed for an impact more than pulling. :notsure:
I generally don't put this truck in a situation that might require winching. It's more for removing downed trees, broken Jeeps, etc..
