Lent it to a buddy who is down on his luck to move his stuff into an apartment and the crazy girlfriend's Rottie jumped in and tore up the seat with his paws. Shredded the seat cover but luckily that was the only damage. Thanks for the info Connor.

Thanks for the offer Connor. A guy at work told me about a salvage yard off of 85, just before Lavonia and I was able to pick up a whole seat last night for $65.

I really need to, because I have a few in the rear seats that I haven't been able to get out. I'll need to get my hands on a steamer and figure it out before I tackle that. I'm actually contemplating using this opportunity to put in seat warmers.

So it’s not a bad idea to pick these seats up when found on the cheap, even if you don’t need them. It has been my experience that if your gonna keep your truck for a long long time, it’s easier to find seats for it now vs 5-10yrs from now.
Just saying your seats get the shit kicked out of them over the years, and it’s nice to have an extra set where you can swap them once the old ones are toast.
I think I had 2 sets of seats for the land cruisers I had.

 

You can buy new foam from Toyota - which is what I'm doing in addition to leather covers.

Word. I prefer the amber over anything, the white just blinds me up here in the fog and pretty much every other situation. The white is only good for distance without a tree canopy over you..
