Best practice is to idle for 30 sec after engine start to get the oil circulating. I use the blinking TPMS light as a counter...

Having the summer tires next to the truck will prevent the TPMS light from coming on for the first 20 minutes or so after startup.

Appreciated! Growing a Facebook group is shitty, but it gets easier at 100ish members as the search algorithm starts to promote the group. I knew writing that paper for my comp sci class had a use. Too bad I fucking hate comp sci.

Understandable. I blanked out about 2 weeks into that class. It was 6 months long.

Tbh thats fair on toyotas part tho. If theres mud and water inside the airbox thats more solid evidence of abuse than some guy going “oh ya, i offroad but not that hard.”

sucks but it is what it is

Yeah, rule number #1 is to clean it up as much as you can. I’ve blown entire electrical system and other things in my truck before. Prior to taking it for warranty work I always brought it back to stock where work needs to be done and played dumb. Saved me over $8000 in repairs to this day. Thanks to toyota warranty

Why not both? New people aren’t old, old aren’t new. I told you, grow or die… metaphorically lol

Looking at getting a kinetic rope and rear hitch shackle to have a rear tow point just in case. Any recommendations for cheap but good options? I missed out on the princess sale for ropes a few of you got last year. Hoping to get a similar sale at some point. But looking for options in the meantime.
