I stocked up before the 2020 election bc of the uncertainty leading up to that. Then added to that here and there through the years. The whole Oregon situation just sucks!

Yeah it’s total BS. I had enough stashed away over the years that I’d be fine if a mag ban was suddenly imposed overnight but with a ban going into effect in 2.5 weeks it was time to up that to a lifetime supply (and some to be honest).

MP5 mags and Sig mags don’t make it any less painful. Those suckers are expensive! Also bought G3 mags even though I don’t own one yet.

fingers crossed on an injunction but who the hell knows? I’d rather be safe than sorry.

I’m also curious how they’re gonna handle the tens of thousands of pending background checks that swamped their system. Zero chance they’ll get through them before December 8th.

When I was at my LGS the owner said he called the state police who are responsible for the new system and they didn’t even know what the hell they were gonna do. The police didn’t know if they’d keep running checks in the system or if everything would grind to a halt. Fingers crossed I get my guns I already paid for that are in limbo.

Probably going to all be denied as not having the paperwork required by the state.

Thankfully I am stocked up on magazines. Only two guns I have with 2 mags each are my M&P 9C (gen1) and 22C. But I don't need >10 for those as it isn't practical for their purpose.

I am still debating though..... might order some more pmags.

Not from OR but was reading up on it and from a local 2a advocate blog they were saying most shops don't know they can follow the federal statutes. I'm guessing some don't want the liability or potential bad press if a prohibited person falls through the cracks then commits a crime. Anything else I add to that just starts getting political so I'll leave it at that.

I've already seen one of the 2A groups has filled request for injunction so the wheels are already turning

Just paid for a DD RIS II cerakoted FDE. I’ve always wanted to build a peanut butter MK18 but their take is so dark, looks almost black. I’m excited. Won’t be complete for a while, the rail is literally the first piece lol.

No thanks, I have found the three that I use. OWB SOB for spring/fall, shoulder for winter, BH Serpa that will eventually end up under the steering wheel for long drives.

Went ahead and ordered 10 more pmags. $75 shipped. I was going to order another binary trigger, but I decided I will just go light triggers on all my others and keep the SBRs binary.
