    Since I was left alone and unsupervised today, I was a good hubby and vacuumed and did the laundry before I started to play.

    Mounted an old 1-6x scope I had on the Ruger Ranch and decided the 14” LOP was just too long for my short self. It’s now a nice 12 3/4” LOP and feels much better. Looks more appropriate on a carbine length rifle too IMO. Went to the range to sight it in, forgot tomorrow is opening day for rifle here in FL, range was packed with all sorts of idiots. I came back home, will sight it in Friday if it doesn’t rain.

    It makes me laugh go sight the rifle in the day before the season starts .

    I could understand if one just drove 1500 miles even in the best case a few shots to make sure things are still good.

    I laugh too. The range is a members only range, I’ve never seen most of these people before. They pay for the membership then show up at most a couple of times a year, today being the big day for most of them. They need to go home so us regulars can enjoy ourselves and not worry about being shot lol

    Love the Camburg pieces. I've been eying a few things for my Tacoma.

    My favorite too! Costco had large bag sizes of the Reeces peanut butter cup Christmas trees. My bag didn't last a week.:anonymous: I need to grab another. :hungry:

    He was in the treeline behind us as we were glassing a meadow and when he let that bark loose, it was like the forest itself barked at us. It was so damn loud.

    Floofy, sure, but my 53lb dog could whip me if he wanted, let alone a 100+ pound feral animal. I wasn't so confident in my 9mm on my waist in that moment as I had been before.
