    Oh look, another mod....
What in the fuck does any of that have to do with the NEXT generation Tacoma? It seems like all you did was brag about the deal you got (5yrs ago) and draw a line in the sand about "I've never paid MSRP!"

    No one cares.

Lockdowns in countries of manufacturing that drive up the cost of goods.

Second page is literally taking about dealers still trying to ask for mark ups and sales of 4 runner and tacomas. Someone mentioned about south east Toyota dealers and the normal add ons. So I mentioned the dealer I always go through. Sooo much for trying to help out.

Nope no issues in Mexico. China lockdowns, I don't know if any Tacoma components are built in China if any, but you probably can't get a Tacoma delivered to your dealer with out something being produced in China.

All the electronics, LCD screens, and components, even if they’re “assembled” in another country or the US. Same goes for wheels, small plastic parts, etc.

Fuck China. I am so sick of their grip on our goods. Can we get a 100% made in the USA phone? Of course not, and it’s 100% ridiculous.

I just got back from Southeast Asia and Japan. You can still buy Japanese made Japanese stuff and holy shit it’s expensive.

I will add the dollar is extremely powerful compared to the yen , but that somehow has not affected the prices of goods.

Ugh. By the time it comes out the government will have outlawed the sale of new ICE vehicles.

Probably better financially for them to run the 3rd gen taco as long as possible its a perfect truck not as fuel efficient but reliable.

There might never be a 6th gen 4Runner?!

GX could definitely occupy that market space. Why not if 4Runner becomes a $70-$80k vehicle it may as well be a Lexus at that price point.

I still say Toyota should market the DCSB in luxury and OR trims of the 4th gen Tacoma as the 4Runner line. Toyota could always introduce the 4Runner SUV later on, as a lower trim GX with a Toyota badge.

Toyota would have to continue with an AC of some type and lower trim option DC Tacomas, to differentiate the Tacoma from the 4Runner.
